Upon discovering my own Métis heritage while in high school, my passion has since been about the positive growth and empowerment of Aboriginal youth as vibrant, active leaders.

I studied Print Journalism at Sheridan College in Oakville from 2007 to 2009 and am in process of having a Métis children's book published. I am now the coordinator for Motivate Canada's GEN7 Aboriginal Role Model Program.

Prior to working at Motivate Canada, I was given the opportunity to be one of 350 Aboriginal dancers featured in the Opening Ceremonies of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics where I became inspired by fellow Aboriginal youth leaders and athletes. I enjoy yoga, playing ice hockey, ball hockey and basketball.
